Recurring cycles of conflict
Alongside the apparent subject of an argument, recurring ways of interacting—such as criticism, defensiveness, withdrawal or insistence—are explored. The aim is to recognise how the cycle affects both people and find a different way of connecting, rather than identifying someone to blame.
